If your Indramat motion control system isn’t eligible for repair or reman, replacement can be your solution. Choose legacy replacement units with warranties or update some or all of your units to the current Indradrive models.

Sometimes clients think they have a choice between repairing that faulty drive and replacing their entire motion control system.

That’s not true.

Many facilities find that they can work with units from multiple different time depths. Since Indramat continues to support legacy units with factory repair and reman, your best bet may be to replace one unit with a remanufactured legacy unit of the same type.

We have an extensive stock of remanufactured units, with warranties. Making this kind of replacement can extend the life of your entire electric motion control system, allowing you to make strategically planned upgrades rather than being forced into making changes that might not be in your best interests.

On the other hand, there’s no denying that there are some advantages to newer equipment. Rexroth’s Indradrive line may be more energy-efficient than the model you need to replace, or may offer new possibilities in communication.

Depending on your goals, you might benefit from upgrading some units to current models, or choosing a different legacy model for your replacement unit.

We can help you determine the best choices for your needs, as well as developing the right configuration for the big picture in your facility. There are many factors to consider, and our decades of experience will help you make the best choices.

We can also help you determine whether your units must be replaced. Sometimes, especially if you have tried third-party repairs already, it is not possible to repair your unit. But you may be surprised to find that repair is an option even in cases that seem hopeless.
